Coffee & Freshness

When is my coffee roasted?

Every bag is roasted to order — we don't roast in bulk and sit on inventory. Your small batch coffee is roasted fresh within 48 hours of your order and shipped straight to your door at peak flavor.

What does "small batch" mean?

Small batch means we roast in limited quantities to ensure every batch gets the attention it deserves. Unlike mass-produced coffee, our small batch process allows us to carefully control roast levels and preserve the unique flavor profiles of each origin.

What grind options are available?

We want your coffee to be perfect for how you brew it. You'll choose your preferred grind option right at checkout — whether you need whole bean, standard drip, espresso, coarse, or another grind.

What's the difference between single origin and a blend?

Single origin coffee like our Colombia, Uganda, and Kenya roasts comes from one specific farm or region, giving each cup a distinct flavor profile unique to that place. A blend like our Latin American Blend combines beans from multiple origins to create a balanced, consistent flavor in every cup.

How should I store my coffee and how long does it stay fresh?

Store your coffee in an airtight container away from heat, light, and moisture — a cool pantry or cabinet works great. Because your fresh roasted coffee ships within 48 hours of roasting, it's at peak freshness upon arrival and stays that way for 2–4 weeks when stored properly.

Mushroom Coffee

What is mushroom coffee?

Our Mushroom Coffee is a smooth medium roast blended with Lion's Mane, Reishi, and Cordyceps mushroom powder. It's regular coffee with added functional benefits — same great taste, extra support for your energy and focus.

Does it taste like mushrooms?

Not at all! Our Mushroom Coffee tastes like a smooth, rich medium roast. The mushroom powders are flavorless and blend seamlessly into the coffee — you won't notice them in your cup, only in how you feel.

What are the benefits of Lion's Mane, Reishi, and Cordyceps?

Lion's Mane supports cognitive function and mental clarity. Reishi promotes calm, steady energy without the jitters or afternoon crash. Cordyceps supports endurance and natural energy levels. Together they make your morning cup work harder for you.

Is mushroom coffee safe for everyone?

Our Mushroom Coffee is made with natural ingredients and is safe for most adults. However, if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medication, we recommend consulting your doctor before adding it to your routine.

Tea

Are your teas loose leaf or bagged?

All of our teas are premium loose leaf — no tea bags here. Loose leaf tea delivers a fuller, more nuanced flavor than bagged tea because the leaves have room to fully expand and release their natural oils.

Which teas are caffeine-free?

Our Apple Cider Rooibos and Hibiscus Berry teas are completely caffeine-free, making them perfect for an evening cup or for anyone looking to reduce their caffeine intake. All other teas contain varying levels of natural caffeine.

How do I brew loose leaf tea?

Use about 1–2 teaspoons of tea per 8oz of water. Green and white teas do best with water around 175°F steeped for 2–3 minutes. Black teas like English Breakfast and Masala Chai prefer boiling water (212°F) steeped for 3–5 minutes. Herbal teas like Hibiscus Berry and Rooibos can steep in boiling water for 5–7 minutes.
